CANDY COVERED BOOKS

September 15, 2005

Hey Sugars,

We've got more sweet news for you! Now to help your search through our ever increasing resource of titles, Candy Covered Books has expanded our sorting features. As always you can sort by your tried and true favorites -Title, Author, Rating-, but now you can also sort by -drum roll please- Genre! We have classified our 800+ books into 19 categories that can help you on your quest for your next good read! Links to similar books are located below the book synopsis on the book pages. You can also sort by our latest books entered. During your sorting, try flipping between covers and title in any vantage point. Consider it icing on the cake, sugar on top, and all such things that are sweet as pie. Now go play, have fun, and tell us what you think. Definitely share your classification ideas as well, whether its even more genres or a new book that fits across categories. Any help will be greatly appreciated. And don't worry, there will always be more features to come. The oven's still warm.

This week's book feature can be found sorted under our Chick Lit Motherhood sub genre. Calming to the soul, energizing the body, Downward Dog's rejuvenating stretch is also a great vantage point to check out the Prada-clad regulars at Soho's most exclusive prenatal yoga class. From an upside-down viewpoint, Laura feels that a pregnant belly may be all she has in common with the glamorous clientele. After all, the only way she got into the class was through her professor husband's university insurance program. Score.

Between her twisted legs and arms, she can make out the perfect poses of the fabulous Spanish model, the designer blond, and myriad of other woman with huge shiny rocks on their fingers. When gregarious Gigi joins their class and get the girls to do lunch, the woman bond by exchanging -tell me about it- stories of the fathers-to-be.

A comfort to each other, Laura soon finds herself a part of a fast forming set of friends she calls, The Yoga Mamas. The Yoga Mamas not only share their yoga practices, lunches, births, and soon, play dates together, but also yield secrets that may threaten to throw their new friendships off balance.

Hip, fun, and breezy, Katherine Stewart's first novel will have you rolling on those yoga mats when you join these New York City yoga mamas in their newest life altering adventure - with a few side trips to Long Island's most luxurious spa, hotel and pool, of course. Check out what the critics are saying, including our mama expert friends at Thrifty Mama Daily. And as always, you won't have to judge the book by its cover alone.

Namaste,
