Hey Sugars,

This November, Thanksgiving kicks off our holiday season. And I cannot wait. I always look forward to the time when my family comes in from all over the country to be together. Over preparations and dinner, we chat and banter. We laugh! But my favorite time that I secretly wait for is after the dinner. After dinner, my family comes together and cuddles around the fireplace. On couches, under warm blankets, we settle into the night with our mugs of warm apple cider and we read. Each with their own book, each in their own world, the late hours creep upon us and the quietness of this habit calms me. This Thanksgiving, I'm coming armed with Sophie Kinsella's latest Shopaholic & Sister. After re-reading The Shopaholic Series, I can't wait to see how married life is treating Becky and what's going to happen when she meets her long lost sister! Perfect reading for this holiday spent with family and excellent timing to get us in that Holiday shopping mood. Not that I'll need it. Candy Covered Books wishes you all a great Thanksgiving and we hope our new updates helps you find your next good read. And remember! Don't judge the books by their covers alone!

Stay Warm,

On returning home, not only does Becky has a few new situations to face: a restrictive budget, changing friendships, but ... a long-lost sister? Ecstatic of the news of meeting a potential new soul mate, Becky sets out to meet her half-sister. Meeting Jessica isn't exactly what she expected. In fact, it's quite the opposite! As Becky tries desperately to find something in common with Jessica, we find ourselves caught up in Becky's world and rooting for her in Shopaholic and Sister.
