CANDY COVERED BOOKS

July 01, 2005

Hey Sugars,

Its summer time girls! (As if you can't tell, sorry). But what does that mean in a Candy Covered world? It means time for the girls and I to head to the outdoors equipped with our sunscreen, picnic baskets, tank-tops, and chilled lattes. Whether Saturday, Sunday, or any other day of the week sends us to the beach, a park, or an outdoor cafe, there are a few items we never forget to bring. Summer for us means summer reads. An outdoor book club, one might say. This Friday, we are taking the day off and heading to Heather's backyard complete with pool, deck, lounge chairs, and tall enough trees to canopy our little group as we share in our next good read:

Three best friends in very different stages of their lives share one last fling at a resort in Turkey. Divorcee Carrie Ann and commitment-phobe Yaslyn want to give the bride-to-be Rachel, a time to remember. However, they soon find that sharing seven days, in one room, with a group of girls full of issues, may not be the sunny time they were expecting. Chris Manby delves deep into the world of relationships while throwing in a wide cast of characters that will have you both thinking and laughing out loud. Find out what the critics have to say about Seven Sunny Days and you won't have to judge the book by its cover alone.

Just hope Heather can keep up the pace! Oh yeah, and we musn't forget the sunglasses.

PS. As always, thanks for supporting the site and buying through our links!

Hope your summer reads help in your summer fun!
